8th Grade Ptolomey Presentation

The respected scientist, Ptolomey, popped by for a visit to our 8^th grade classroom, and presented a deeply refuted lecture all about our stable, non-revolving planet, Earth. Heliocentric? Bah, Humbug! Galileo will likely be making an appearance to put his two cents in sometime in the future.

The Explorers Game

Students experienced the discoveries and excitement of the early explorers. We traveled by boat, following in the seasteps of De Gama, Columbus, Magellan and others.  Some visitors found treasures.  Others found an early demise from starvation, disease or really irritated natives.  All found out something new and had fun learning!
