Mountains to Sound Tree Planting

On October 13th Vista 6-8th graders loaded buses, dressed to spend the day working in the ground with the Mountains to Sound organization.  The stewardship that the students took part in took place at Lake Sammamish State Park and was an opportunity to plant trees to help "improve the rates of survival for native salmon populations in addition to creating natural habitat for other native wildlife in the park."
