6th Grade Jack Straw Productions and UW Greenhouse

On Friday, November 4, the 6^th graders traveled to Jack Straw studios to record their “This I Believe” essays. Each student individually entered the recording studio with a voice coach and confidently articulated their speech. Afterwards, the Jack Straw’s staff instructed students how to digitally edit and perfect their recordings. I was so proud of the student’s enthusiasm for the project and how supportive they were for one another! While some students were working on their production, the other half of 6th grade was able to go to the UW Greenhouse for some plant education! It was wonderful experience.
