4th&7th Grade trip to Olympia

On Tuesday, January 24, the seventh and fourth grade classes collaborated on a trip to the Washington state Capitol in Olympia.  Students visited the House and Senate chambers, the Governor’s office, and  learned about the historic structures throughout the building.  After having the opportunity to ask questions and meet with a state congresswoman, students adeptly participated in their own mock trial to experience the legislative process.  Bravo to the seventh and fourth grade!
